Buh Bye Bobby

Here is another Story that came across my desk, You heard it here first!
Bobby Madritch has been claimed off of waivers by the Kansas City Royals. Bavasi said they had no problem with the claim and that they wished bobby the best of luck.
Figuring to be a major part of the 06' rotation the mariner’s are now forced to bring in more pitching help than previously expected!! At least in my opinion they are.

  1. I personally wasn't counting on Bobby M to be in the rotation next year. His arm must be really messed up. Thank you Bob Melvin for overworking him. Good luck with the Royals Bobby.

  2. I wasn't counting on him either, but loved the guy for that sparkling September 2004. Sad sad sad.

Yeah, and thank God good ole BoMel was able to eek out those incredibly important games on Bobby's arm.....

Regardless, we're looking for three arms beyong Felix and Pineiro.

By the way, I'll have more on Joel later.

was it Melvin or his newly hired pitching coach, Price?

  4. Everything I have read/heard point at Melvin for overworking Bobby (notice how I don't even try to spell his last name). Price's big thing was not overworking pitchers, so it's strange that he and Melvin got along so well.
