Stay OFF topic

Big Daddy I know he's your boy but.... Franklin. Ugh. Bad attitude, bad pitching. Cheater. Go away.

I was thinking since there is really nothing interesting happening with the baseball games that the Seattle Mariners play, we'd do a something a little different here at Mariner Magic. This post has no topic. And every comment should be completely off-topic from any previous comment made. The only rule is that the comment must be somehow related to the Mariners. So if you want to say
"I think Jeremy Reed looks like an alien"....feel free.

Go for it. Felix pitches soon, there will be something worth watching.

Beltre's been better too. Woo.

  1. While raising hand and energetically excalaiming in a Horshack nasal drawl...Oooh! Oooh! Oooh!

Sports & Bremertonians has a link to a site called "Build a Better Bush." http://www.ilfoglio.it/uploads/camillo/BuildabetterBush.htm
If you select "Bald," "Drunk" and "Goatee" he looks an awful lot like M's GM Bill Bavasi.

I don't know who to feel worse for -- W or Bavasi...

no TV today...can we arrange that only for the days Frankie pitches ?-

--also.what about Dave Niehaus?--has he lost a step or two --his home run calls were always right on --never used to call a warning track shot as "..Fly Away"--still love him to death,though--could "Red" be under apprenticeship to do play-by-play if/when Dave hangs it up?? --discuss among yourselves

Jeff Harris...no answer, i understand...but a glint of positivity in an otherwise disappointing and murky morass of M's pitching. Good for him for sticking it out so long. Congrats on a major league victory. Another enjoyable and sunny day in the northwest, sitting OUTSIDE (yeah!) listening to the call. Don't you love how a radio only game gets your imagination pumped up?

  4. Seriously. Jeremy Reed-alien. I mean it's not quite on the same level of Sam Casell, but there's something weird looking about that guy.

i sure loved getting in free to buhner bone-night and having seats just behind him in the 100 level in RF. *sigh*

nostalgia.... i recall a fan ran out onto the field dropped to his knees wayne and garth style, a "we're not worthy" that made buhner crack up as he shook the guy's hand just prior to the guy being escorted politely... well... where ever he went.

i envy him and wish him well.
